Making Dental Care
Easier to Afford

At Clinton Dental Care, we understand that dental insurance can sometimes feel confusing. Our team is here to help you understand your coverage, make the most of your available benefits, and estimate what you may be responsible for before treatment begins. Because every plan is different, we encourage you to contact our office with specific questions about your coverage.

Unlike many medical insurance plans, dental insurance typically provides a set amount of benefits each year. This is commonly referred to as an annual maximum, and the amount varies depending on your plan. As services are completed and claims are paid, those payments are applied toward your annual maximum. Once the maximum has been reached, you may be responsible for the remaining cost of treatment until your benefits renew.

Coverage also varies by procedure. Many plans cover preventive services, such as routine examinations, cleanings, and X-rays, at a higher percentage. Restorative treatments, including fillings, crowns, and root canals, may be partially covered, while certain elective or cosmetic procedures may not be covered. Your plan may also include deductibles, waiting periods, frequency limitations, or other conditions that affect your benefits.

Our team will verify your available benefits and provide the most accurate estimate possible based on the information supplied by your insurance company. Please keep in mind that an estimate is not a guarantee of payment, and final coverage is determined by your insurance provider after a claim is processed. We will remain available throughout the process to answer questions and help make your dental care easier to navigate.
